Professional Experience
Salman Alim, MD, is a board-certified pulmonologist with his own private practice in Kingwood, Texas. He is committed to helping individuals living in and throughout the Greater Houston area breathe more efficiently so that they can experience a better quality of life.

Dr. Alim completed medical school at The Aga Khan University in Karachi, Pakistan. After relocating to the United States, Dr. Alim completed his internal medicine residency at the Drexel University College of Medicine in 2008. He then completed a pulmonary fellowship at Rosalind Franklin University in July 2014 and a pulmonary critical care fellowship at Cleveland Clinic Florida in August 2015.

At his pulmonary critical care private practice, Dr. Alim diagnoses and treats a variety of respiratory issues, including asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), coughCOVID lungpulmonary hypertension, and shortness of breath. He can also diagnose and treat sleep apnea to help you get a better night’s sleep.
